The Times Union covered our billboard campaign, which shames Rep. Elise Stefanik, among other Republican lawmakers, for her lack of honestly about the 2020 Presidential election:
The billboards are the first phase of a $1 million campaign targeting nine other House Republicans and U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Josh Hawley, R-Mo. All of the lawmakers voted to object to certifying the 2020 presidential election results on Jan. 6, hours after a mob of pro-Trump supporters broke into the U.S. Capitol to try to stop the certification and keep President Donald Trump in the White House.
The campaign is part of a larger effort by Defending Democracy Together, which opposed Trump’s re-election, to aid Republicans who voted to impeach Trump and back primary challengers of Republicans, like Stefanik, who objected to President Joe Biden’s electoral victory.
