On December 16, he gave a fiery floor address loaded with baseless accusations of voter fraud. He claimed that “voting by illegal aliens and other non-citizens is rampant and flipping elections… this year, hundreds of thousands, and more likely millions of illegal aliens voted after Joe Biden openly promised amnesty and citizenship.” Rep. Brooks also spoke at the Jan. 6 “Stop the Steal” rally in D.C., where he said, “Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking ass!”
Rep. Brooks did not vote in support of the bipartisan commission proposal to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection.
