Biography
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene represents Georgia’s 14th district in the House, and her name has become a byword for conspiracy-peddling and lying.
She has said on many occasions that the election was “stolen,” saying in one Newsmax interview that “the evidence is there, it’s real.” She tweeted: “202,377 more votes cast than voters voting in Pennsylvania! This is called election fraud,” and “Joe Biden did NOT win. He lost. DonaldTrump won!!!”
Rep. Greene is on record claiming that the Parkland and Sandy Hook shootings were “staged,” and she has frequently parroted other conspiracy theories popular with QAnon followers.
Rep. Greene did not vote in support of the bipartisan commission proposal to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection.
